Artist's Comments
This is the German V2 rocket from the end of WW2.
It´s a scale model with most sizes proportional to the real one. A thanks goes to the v2rocket.com site for the V2 blueprint and other information. I wanted to texture this rocket but I had this model sitting in my HD for a long time and decided to simply put one plain color on it. This color is, at least, one that was actually used on the war(RAL 7009). The image is a little bit grainy but I think it´s good enough as is. Modelled in Blender, rendered in Yafray and final touches in Gimp.  |
